Rice and Dice at Finder Keepers Markets, Sydney |
Rice and Dice is a food truck serving up delicious vegetarian Asian street food with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options.
There may only be three items on the menu but you'll have a hard time choosing between the three.
Slumdog Masala
Indian Styles Nachos
Ling Ling Dumplings
Make sure to request dairy-free/vegan substitutes as the raita contains dairy.
Slumdog Masala, $12.00 |
Yellow potato, black-eyed bean and green lentil curry topped with fresh mint and coriander raita served with coconut wild rice.
Indian Styles Nachos, $12.00 |
Roasted papri chips, coriander and mint chutney, curried chickpeas, carrot beetroot slaw, potatoes and tamarind and data raita.
|
Ling Ling Dumplings, $8.00
|
Vegetarian dumplings served with your choice of soy or chill sauce topped with pickled ginger.
All three are packed full of flavour although you can't go past the Indian Style Nachos. Wheat biscuits are used in place of corn chips and along with the spicy potatoes makes this a really filling meal. That, mixed with coriander and mint chutney, carrot and beetroot slaw and tamarind and data raita makes a confusingly sweet and savoury flavour combo.

I agree. Just by looking, I'm having a hard time to choose among the three. They all look so good!
ReplyDeleteI'd have to come with two friends so we could order one of everything! :D What do they make the vegan raita out of?
ReplyDeleteI went with two friends! Haha Great minds ;)
DeleteI just requested the vegan dressing substitute as suggested but I'd love to find out too.
