Vegan Review: Raw Juicery, Brisbane City

Cold pressed juice | Queenslander, SML $5.00

I came across Raw Juicery when I was looking for breaky in Brisbane. I found Urban List's '9 of Brisbane's Best Vegan and Vegetarian Breakfasts' list and after stalking Raw Juicery's Instagram and Facebook I saw that they were ridiculously close to my work and full of vegan goodies.

COLD PRESSED JUICES  Small $5 | Regular $7.95 | Large $8.95 | 1L $14.95
Cold pressed juices are known for their superior nutrient value. The CPJ at Raw Juicery are not only nutrient dense but they know how to put a good juice combo together and how to make it look great.

Since I was travelling to Queensland for the week I had to order the Queenslander juice. A gorgeous, rich red juice made up of beetroot, pineapple, carrot and orange. Ordering something with beetroot and carrot in it always makes me feel healthy and the pineapple and orange made it sweet enough for this sweet tooth.

On another morning during my week in Brisbane I tried the Immunity juice. Immunity is their most popular juice and it's easy to see why. Made up of grape, pineapple, lemon, parsley and ginger it's another great combo of healthy and sweet.

Chia Pudding (chocolate & caramel), $6.50
Cold pressed juice | Immunity, SML $5.00

The Chocolate & Caramel Chia Pudding is so deliciously chocolatey it feels naughty. It's packed full of chia seeds though so it must be healthy, right?

Overnite Oats + Coconut Yoghurt, $9.95

The Overnite Oats would have been perfect for a Summer morning breaky. They are cool and filling, mixed with pumpkin seeds and almonds. Topped with coconut yoghurt and strawberry it has a hint of sweetness to it (though I would have liked to mix some shredded dates through the mix too).

I saw the raw Vegan Nachos on Raw Juicery's Instagram page and had to try them. When I went in-store I was told they don't really make them anymore but since I'd asked about them they'd make some for that day. I came back at lunch and ordered the nachos and a Nodo raw cocoa pistachio donut. The nachos tasted as good as they looked and I couldn't get enough of the sundried tomato, cashew dip and the guacamole. The Nodo donut was rich and sweet and perfect for lunch-dessert.

Overall, the store is a great place to pick up a quick and healthy breakfast or lunch. They win the best juice combos in Brisbane award from me, I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town.

  1. I have my favourite juice combo and that is pear, carrot and beetroot. Have you ever tried it? It's the best!

    1. Yum! That sounds delicious. One of my faves is beetroot, orange, carrot and ginger but next time I think I'll try it with pear and no ginger. Thanks :)
