Just a short stroll down from my hotel, I found the cafe easily, sitting on busy Eagle Street close to the ferry.
Whole avocado on multigrain gluten-free bread with a side of mushrooms, $12.00
Veggie Juice (beetroot, ginger, parsley, carrot), $6.50
Although this may look like a simple breakfast of avo on toast with mushrooms, every ingredient was so fresh and tasty it tasted anything but plain. The gluten-free multigrain bread wasn't dense, like most gluten-free breads tend to be. I think it may be the best gluten-free bread I've tasted and I had to ask the kitchen what they use (Bakers Maison).
I was still getting over a virus and although I usually like my juices as sweet as possible, the Veggie Juice was the perfect mix to combat the flu.
