A curiously unique recipe for mashed potatoes.
You know those moments when a random idea pops into your mind during a seemingly unrelated situation or conversation? Well this recipe idea was exactly that. My friend sent me the link for a weeks round up of meal ideas, mostly chicken based (Classic Eray), and as I read from recipe to recipe I felt the sudden urge to see what mashed potatoes made with rosewater and pistachios would taste like.
I searched the net for Rosewater & Pistachio Mashed Potatoes and there were literally zero results. I had either stumbled onto a great, new, never tried before recipe or there were no results because it wasn't very good..
I tried it anyway and was really pleasantly surprised! It is..
creamy
floral
salty
filling
and would go great served..
with Vegetable Skewers
with Vegan Kofte
Bangers and Mash style
atop a Middle Eastern inspired Shepherd's Pie
Sometimes those ridiculously random ideas pay off. Thanks Eray :)
What has been your best random idea? What would you serve this potato mash with?
