Valentine's Day

Valentine's day is just around the corner..

I thought I would share something I created especially for Valentine's Day (but works for other ocassions aswell).

My crochet roses! 
It was my first time making crochet flowers so I went through a lot of trial and error before being happy with the design. The rose and the sepals (green bits under the rose) are made entirely from yarn and the stem is floral wire wrapped with the same wool as the sepals so it can be manipulated however you wish. What do you think..?

I don't think I'll be doing anything too exciting this Valentine's Day. M will be working. Perhaps we could make something nice for dinner and I'll spend the day creating.

    You could really tap into the anti-Valentine market by creating some black roses too, hehe. I like the red ones though. ;-)
