A Vegan's Review of The Glass Onion Society, Long Jetty

Almond latte @ The Glass Onion Society, Long Jetty

"A weird and wonderful coffee and food experience for weird and wonderful humans" - The Glass Onion Society.

The town of Long Jetty is the Central Coast's hub for great cafes, unique floristry, vintage finds and more. Compared to Sydney, The Entrance Road in Long Jetty is the King Street of Newtown.

Enter The Glass Onion Society - a buzzing, open, creative space sitting on the corner of The Entrance Road and Thompson Street with a cozy, vintage and social vibe. The cafe is easily the most popular cafe in Long Jetty and both the indoor and outdoor seating fill up fast.

A couple of girlfriends and I went early on a Saturday morning over the weekend before Australia Day. The cafe was unsurprisingly busier than usual and it was a ten minute wait before we were seated inside on the cafe's vintage lounge chairs. The table service was friendly although rushed. The coffee and drinks come out fast though the food takes a little longer than usual. The wait isn't too noticeable though since we were brainstorming a possible trip to New York and Lebanon for the end of the year!

COFFEE

The Glass Onion Society uses a coffee blend of their own design. Designed through Espressology, their signature blend is full bodied, rich and smooth. Available to enjoy in store, takeaway or for retail as whole or ground beans for home brewing.
