During our stay in Manila we joined the 'Walk This Way' tour of Intramuros. Our tour guide, Carlos Celdran, is well known in the Philippines as a tour guide, cultural activist and performing artist. He made the half day walking tour informative, theatrical and hilarious. If you ever get a change to visit Intramuros you have to do this!
| We were told this was a big improvement for the electrical wires |
| A Filipino dessert made of shredded coconut and jelly - looks strange, tastes good |
And of course I made time to make something while we were there!
I put the finishing touches on a little, girly crochet blanket made especially for my newborn niece.
Ta da!
It reminds me of bubblegum ice cream mixed with Nerd's.
Still to come:
Wow, I can't believe all those wires! What a mess. I actually thought they were art of some kind at first...lol :)
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colours of the blanket. Girly, but not too girly!
ReplyDeleteinteresting photos! The wires still look so crazy!
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is lovely!
Wow, that is a mass of wires, looks kind of scary!! The door is so beautifully carved.
ReplyDeleteAre you enjoying the warm weather?
ReplyDeleteI loved it. Summer is my favourite time of year.
DeleteNow that we're back in Sydney my skin is missing the warm, humid weather.
